If you are self-employed you will need to provide the following to be entitled to claim for unemployment benefit. Satisfactory proof that you:
- have involuntarily ceased trading because you could not find enough work to meet all your reasonable business and living expenses and have declared this to HM Revenue& Customs; and
- are registered as unemployed with the Department for Work and Pensions.

My a&l loan has the same terms and conditions as the one they have now (my loan with them was taken out in 1999) and settled in 05, if this helps?0

hello am
does that mean i wont be able to claim ? if i recall over the phone the person would sold me the loan said i would get the loan easier if i took the ppi ? so was it of use to me after all?
