Wire euros from the UK?

Hello,

I am making an online purchase, and the only payment method is Bank Wire Transfer.

I recently came across Crown Currency Exhange's buy now get delivered in a month, with a fantastic rate of 1.25 euro to the pound, so would like to buy the euros this way, then use the euros to make the wire transfer.

Can someone please let me know if LTSB will allow you to do a Euro Moneymover using cash in Euros brought into the branch, or if they require you to make the payment from your bank account?

Also if it is not possible to do this in cash through my bank, could someone could point me in the direction of a UK wire transfer provider that accepts payment in euros cash, and pays into a foreign bank account?

It looks like the Post Office may offer this, but I'm not entirely certain looking at their website. Can anyone confirm

You will have to ask LTSB if they allow this. Otherwise, you could open a Euro account with someone like Citibank, but unless the amounts are massive this would involve a lot of trouble for a marginal benefit.

Do not forget that Crown allow you to take the Euro in Travellers' Cheques, and it might be easier to negotiate this with a bank rather than cash.
