Got Flu - What will happen?

I've been unwell since last friday but over the weekend its gotten worse to the point where i cant stop coughing, its making me so weak and tierd and getting cold and warm flushes.

Thing is i sign on tomorrow at 12:30, But i wont be able to make cause of my situation i had to even miss college yesterday .

Try phoning them first thing and tell them whats happening. Hope you get better soon.

Definitely try hard to 'phone them. Much wiser than having to explain *afterwards* why you missed it. Really.

My daughter was on JSA for a couple of months last year. Her sign on time was 9.35, but she had a vomiting and diarrhoea bug one day, so I rang to explain that she wasn't well enough to sign on. The JC sent out a form in the post for her to sign, which she returned immediately. Her JSA was a few days late, but she still received the full amount.

Yes, just give them a ring and explain, everyone gets ill from time to time, its not your fault, and lets face it, when you ring they will be able to tell that you are ill.

I recall you have had problems keeping JCP appts before - whilst you may be excused if you are unwell, given that you have just had a sanction I would really try to make it if I was you.

call them or they might stop your jsa if they stopped it before for you being 10 minutes late

If you can use the internet and you've had it since Friday 99% sure it's not flu.

What about the £10 note test?

If you saw a ten pound note on the floor would you bend down and pick it up, if yes it's not really flu.

Agree I have similar symptoms at the minute and feel terrible but its definitely not flu just some horrible virus, had flu twice now and both times didn't have the energy to get up let alone type !!
