Help - can i receive txt & voicemail on a sim thats not currently in a phone?

Yes, you would get the texts and voicemails as normal. texts reception is free But you would pay to listen to those voicemails over roaming network.
Texts capacity is, I think 20 texts get saved in a sim, If you get 21st, you need to delete one of the texts to make space for a new one on the SIM. ( not sure about the number of texts). Yes they would come through when you put the sim card in the phone. My sim card (Orange) only holds 10 messages so you would need to be careful to keep enough space. Voicemail will cost a fortune abroad so I would change your answerphone message to ask people not to leave you messages unless it is an emergency, then you wont have to waste your credit listening to pointless voicemails.:happylove DD July 2011:happyloveAug 13 [STRIKE]£4235.19[/STRIKE]:eek: £2550.00 :cool:0
