Stanmore tube station parking

oh heck, thanks for that very useful link.... can anyone suggest where else we should park and travel from? (coming from Milton Keynes)

does that mean that there will be no trains out of Stanmore at all? I'm not quite sure of the stops/lines

Sorry you are right, must need eyes testing, as thought I read differently. Stanmore is at the end of the line, so no trains out of Stanmore over the weekend. the tube only starts further down the line, will usually be replacement buses, but this will mean you will have to allow extra time to get into London. Monday you will be OK.

I would never have known any of this if I didn't come to this forum, thanks for all the posts. Think we might as well go on train!

I would suggest Colindale Station, on the Northern Line. It has a diddy little car park, £1.50 over the weekend, lots of spaces Sat & Sun and you can pay for Sunday and Monday - and I've always found a space. Or you can use First Capital Connect car parks - Hendon or Mill Hill.
