Does anyone know if you can park there overnight, to travel into London on a Sunday and return on the Monday?
Or any other good alternatives.
Thanks

We did exactly this, but at Elstree and Borehamwood rail station. Worked out fine.0

yes you can do that at Stanmore, you will need to pay for 2 days parking as daily parking ends at 23.59. and put the ticket on your windowscreen.0
-
so the ticket machine allows you to select days? So the attendant knows what days you're actually paying for?0

It is run by NCP, if you search for stanmore on their site it gives the daily rates etc
http://www.ncp.co.uk/Daily tariffs
Saturday £ 1.50
Sun & Bank Holidays £ 1.00
1 Day £ 4.50
2 Days £ 9.00
3 Days £ 13.50
4 Days £ 18.00
5 Days £ 22.500 -
hmm I suppose we get a Sunday ticket and a 1 day ticket to cover the monday...0

If it is this weekend be awareSaturday 25 and Sunday 26 September, no service between Stanmore and West Hampstead. Rail replacement buses operate.
Journey times may be increased by up to 45 minutes0 -
It is pay and display and the machine issues a ticket in line with the coinage paid in (seem to think you don't get change but may be wrong) so if you put in £5.50 on the Sunday the expiry time on your ticket would be 23.59 on the Monday (with that days date on the ticket). It is per day not per 24 hour period from the time you park.frames1_uk wrote: »so the ticket machine allows you to select days? So the attendant knows what days you're actually paying for?0 -
Thanks very much for all the info. I didn't realise that engineering works were a consideration at the weekend, I shall certainly make a note of checking that out. It's November 21st we'll be going.0

You will be fine that weekend (Sunday) as the Jubillee line has no planned engineering works.
