orange complaint help

Hi all

Hoping someone could help, tried searching but couldn't find anything similar., I'll try be brief!
Story goes, my husband upgraded his contract July last year, originally an 18mth contract, he upgraded early on a new 18 mth contract.
He changed his job a few months later an the signal was rubbish so he had to get a new phone as he needs it for work.
We expected it would finish in Jan next year.
We're now moving in the next month so want to tie up bits and pieces so wanted to end the contract early, we were fine to pay the last few months up front.
Turns out the contract ends in April, not Jan, as they added on the last few months of his previous contract to this one.
He was not informed this when he renewed his contract.

He called up and the guy was useless, spoke to a manager, who was equally useless. Basically said nothing can be done. We asked for proof he was told about the extra 3 months and they can't so don't feel we should pay the extra.
He said we could write in but it'll probably end up at his dept and still nothing will be done.

Is there any point complaining? The customer service is terrible, which I've seen from other posters and I've seen people getting some joy with going to the CEO.

Anybody had this and had any success?

Thanks!

Its standard when you upgrade before the end of a contract for the remaining months to be added to the end of the new one.

You agreed to an 18 month contract at the start, if you then upgrade at 15 months those remaining 3 months don't just vanish! You still have to honour them, sorry. . .
