Hi Peoples
I need some advice please.
Our contract with Virgin Media ended in July and we moved to Sky. Ourlast payment of £18 was paid to Virgin on the 10/07.
Today i've got homefrom work and there is a threatening letter from Virgin stating I owe them £18 immediatly. Naturally i got straight on the phone only to be told that they are charging me £18 disconnection fee as part of the 30 day notice i had to give them. I wasn't aware i had to give them 30days notice once my contract had ended, surely this isn't right is it? I asked for a copy of my contract to which i was directed to the Virgin website as it is suppossed to state this in the T&Cs.
I couldnt find anything, don't know if i'm going blind but surely i'm not liable once my contract is up am i?
Help please?
