A friend said to me that insurance gets cheap around a certian time of the year... Is this true? I mean, I must admit, in March of this year the insurance was £100 less then when quoted now... Is it around the start of every year?
Yip its true but its actually on specific dates, namely the 31th September, try giving them a ring then...0 -

Hmm. Lets think. Insurance covers a whole year. Will it matter which month is first and which is last?;)0 -

I would like to think so... He said buying insurance around the start of every year is cheaper becuase fewer people buy insurance around that time... Apprently.
Anyways, all jokes aside, is this true?0 -
The insurance companies will know which months are busy etc so I doubt it.
The only thing I can think is towards a company's financial year end an individual insurer might be short of their annual targets for policies underwritten and might try and drop prices but who knows.0 -
