Is It True That Theres A Certian Time In The Year Where Insurance Is Cheaper?

A friend said to me that insurance gets cheap around a certian time of the year... Is this true? I mean, I must admit, in March of this year the insurance was £100 less then when quoted now... Is it around the start of every year?

Hmm. Lets think. Insurance covers a whole year. Will it matter which month is first and which is last?;)

I would like to think so... He said buying insurance around the start of every year is cheaper becuase fewer people buy insurance around that time... Apprently.

Anyways, all jokes aside, is this true?

The insurance companies will know which months are busy etc so I doubt it.

The only thing I can think is towards a company's financial year end an individual insurer might be short of their annual targets for policies underwritten and might try and drop prices but who knows.

Marv, your insurance has gone up because you are now a greater risk.

    This thread explains why. ;)

    Why not?

That car was insured. It was crushed, wasn't it?

I am sure any insurance company would see that as risky business.
