help to send cv without office/word

Hi, I am tryin to send copy of cv to companies , but they say they cannot open them I do not have word or adobe acrobat, so cannot send their required format. Appreciate any help. Please check your CV is a MS Word (*.doc), MS Word 2007 (*.docx), Rich Text Format (*.rtf) or Acrobat (*.pdf) file " this is what their application site states"

    what have you written your CV in then?

    you can download open office copy and paste the text into it format it and then click the save as function - then choose one of the correct options
    Drop a brand challenge
    on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
    10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
    20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
    30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)

    Just install a virtual PDF printer like Cute PDF Writer then you can generate a PDF file from any application that can print.

    You do unless your running Linux !, it's part of all Windows machines.

    *.rtf is in your windows its a programme called Wordpad.exe

    Hi, Used Microsoft works word processor, saved to documents. using Vista premium.Where does one get open office, iv,e seen it in vnu

    Openoffice can "save as" Word document or straight to PDF by clicking on the PDF symbol in the toolbar.

    Hi Tron, thanks for info.Downloaded successfully. Stuck with e-mail server questions.Put pop3, but not sure of 2nd server, so e-mail including cv attatchment failed.Put aol.com, my ISP, can you advise please what I should put, I,m only guessing @ pop3, I don,t really know what to put.cheers

    Who's your ISP and what email program are you using?
