Flea eggs in carpet. cost effective treatment? HELP!!!!

I use staykil. Got it from the vets. You only need to treat the house once a year and seems to work. Never had any probs yet.

Silly question here. Can fleas live if you have laminate flooring?

You don't need to have animals to get fleas as you can bring them into the house on your feet. I once discovered my cat covered in fleas, she was an indoor cat and never went outdoors as I lived in a top floor flat at the time but the vet said I probably brought them in to the house on my feet or else a visitor.

I can also recommend the Aclaim spray treatment from the vets for the house, last 9 to 12 months. I spray all the personal bedding as well as mattress and seating and carpets in fact anywhere the cats might sit.
