I have been trying to view a house in my town for some time now. Have called and emailed the estate agent - no response to emails, and then fobbed off twice on the phone with 'no problem, I'll call the vendor and get back to you ASAP with a viewing time'. He never calls me back!

What shall I do? It's possible the vendor is no longer committed to selling, but even so I'd expect a call back! Should I put a note through the door of the property explaining they have a rubbish agent and to contact me directly re.setting up a viewing?

    Thanks.

could be a phathom house to drum up buyers. it does happen.

    Have you been blacklisted?
  • Have you thought that the EA may be rushed off their feet with viewings? Afterall prices have stabilised allowing FTBers to catch up with the market. That said put a note through the door to the vendors.
The seller needs to raise the asking price as it is too low and not worth the EA being bothered as the commission is too small and anyway he is busy selling more realsitically (higher) priced properties. As was pointed out recently in the Daily Express house prices are SOARING.
