So do posters think I should advertise my three year old 07 blue Ford Focus 40,000 miles MOT to June, 1.8 petrol engine ... beautiful ... at Pistonheads as well? ;) .
  • But you get that with every place you advertise, even if you've paid for it. And it's not just cars:mad:

Human nature I guess, some folks do it deliberately and some just don't give a toss, you just need the 1 genuine buyer. Pity you have to sift through all the timewasters tho' ;);)

i know bri. maybe its the kind of buyer im atracting to a certain make of car? ive had numerous emails asking for my number to call me for more details and folk asking various questions, but still no visitors yet.

still its bidding is going quite well on ebay so far. wouldn't be surprised if winning bidder is a no show going by recent timewasters.

You cannot lose, it's free for up to 4 pictures and the word is getting about so it's well viewed. Doesn't seem to matter what type of car, the last one we sold was a 10 year old VW Polo that my SIL had bought as a stop gap when he ordered a new Golf ;) Price is allways the key tho'

  • thats mine sold. first folk to come and veiw it bought it and only £50 under asking price.
they found it on ebay, turned up the following morning and took it away after 10 minutes.
i still had more than 24 hours left on my ebay listing so could end my auction avoiding any fees at the end of the auction.

  • I agree with Pistonheads, your then advertising to people who are likely to be into those sorts of cars. One great thing is that you can get a conversation going about your car, people then know it's history and are more likely to buy for what your selling it for.
