Try a Renault forum - most car forums like you to pay for membership to be able to advertise for sale, but this may cost less than an Auto trader advert.

Pistonheads website is also worth a try and free.
  • You could sell it on the same that I'm selling a black 57 plate Saab 93 2.0T Aero 210 with 45k on it...
  • If you defiantly want it to go and quickly ebay it but then you might not get as much for it as you want.
Nothing to see here, move along.

  • ive got a car currently listed on ebay and on pistonheads, ive had similar good response from both adverts with it now being only 24 hours after advertising it for sale.

the price matters more than where you advertise it. the car im selling is the cheapest i could find for similar condition/age/mileage. don't price it too high, check what other cars are actually selling for and be prepared to haggle a bit on your price.

but beware as ive found out there are a lot of chancers out there who will offer silly low prices in the hope you cave in. just know what your car is worth realistically and be flexible, everyone loves a bargain when it comes to second hand cars.

but then as ive found tonight you get the time wasters who say they are only about 20 mins half an hour away and will be there soon to view your car, 2 hours later still no sign of them.

why oh why oh why? just say your not coming.:mad::mad:

But you get that with every place you advertise, even if you've paid for it. And it's not just cars:mad:

Human nature I guess, some folks do it deliberately and some just don't give a toss, you just need the 1 genuine buyer. Pity you have to sift through all the timewasters tho' ;);)

Free with Gumtree........what have you got to lose? Just re-list every 4 hours to get it to the top of the list, and cancel the old add so people cant see its been in before.
