New Kenwood Chef KM336, can I buy the cheap attachments on ebay for older models?
http://www.kenwoodworld.com/uk/Products/Kitchen-Machines/Chef-and-Major/Classic-White-Chef-Kitchen-Machine/
Got this model, realised after I bought it I can't buy the food processor attachment for it:(
Interested in the mincer/sausage maker, ice-cream maker, high speed slicer shreder & the rota food cutter to start:D
Also need (want) a spare bowl, I guess it has to be a KM model one?
I have spent ages on MSE & the internet this morning, but i can't find the answer to this:(
Have you not asked this question before?

I didn't actually ask any question on your second link.0 -

I haven't asked this part of the question before.
The second link above says that the KMs & the 9 series are interchangable.
But on ebay for bowls they say a certain bowl is good for the 7 & 9 series.
Are the 7 & 9 series bowls the same then?
If so this means that the 9 series bowls won't fit the KMs, as the KMs are taller.
I would like to get one (or two) extra bowls - prefer the plastic ones as they will be lighter (for weighing).0 -
Hi, does anyone know if the new food processor attachment for the titanium chef is compatible with older models as I wish to buy a Kenwood Chef but don't want to spend lots of money on a new one.0

Hi all,
I wonder if someone could help, as I am a bit confused... I saved for a while and bought myself a KM010 chef for xmas & birthday pressie. I would like to know if the 700 series attachments would fit my machine - in particular the a795 juice extractor and a792a colander and seive. I have looked on the complete chef collection, the kenwood service site and another site linked from the collection page (iyswim) and seem to have conflicting information.
Can someone help, as I don't want to spend the money and find they are not compatible. Thanks in advance,
NT

Nope, my understanding is that the 9XX series attachments will fit but not the 7XX series.
I've bought accessories from http://www.electricshopping.com/nsearch?keywords=kenwood+chef and have always been happy with them.Piglet

As this has fallen from the front page of OS, I'll add it to the existing thread where it may help others in the future:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0

I've bought a retro Kenwood Chef Major Model A707A but it has no dough hook. I've contacted a spares firm but they say the part is no longer available. Does anyone know the part number of one that will fit?
Thanks0 -
Hi RPM59,
You will need to watch which dough hook you buy, as Kenwood changed the design of the attachment shaft for the new KM's.
As long as you stick to older, or 'retro' accessories you should be fine.
BTW, the dough hook from the chef range will NOT fit properly.
Hope that helps,
Tony.0
