I have but they don't know either. I know it's weird isn't it.The thing is they look at things and think they are a rip off.

Way hay, you're obviously the ultimate MSE mum!!

Well, if they don't know what they want/don't want anything in particular, what about premium bonds? If at a later date they find something in particular that they would like they could cash the bonds in. Just a thought.

I spotted the supermarkets selling 'itunes' vouchers. I've got a couple of male relatives with ipods who will be getting these this year. Also - along the lines of the annual cinema pass - what about a subscription to one of those DVD rental schemes, the ones where they post them out to you? I was thinking of getting together with my sister to get this for my dad this year.
  • Hi, how old are they? what about driving lessons?

I have sold 3 remote control helicopters to parents of teenage boys, seems very popular like the usual 'gadgets'
Lessons is a good idea depending on age
Suppose depends what they are in to.
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb
  • Thanks for your suggestions. Unfortunately they have got CD players. They hate branded sports wear. We are taking them to the theatre on New Year's day and the tickets are £55 each  I know I'm mad but I think we will all really enjoy it.
My son says his best present ever was a trip to Kaiser chief gig last year when he was 13 . How about somthing like that.

They can start their own band and become the next Green Day/ Kaiser Chiefs:j

Good idea but they've got them already.

    Yes I might do that.

Still a bit young for that, but definately one for the future.

Yes they enjoy gigs, we're hoping to take them to Glastonbury next year.
