Thank you Paul for the quick response. I tried the link you sent it states :-

This error (HTTP 500 Internal Server Error) means that the website you are visiting had a server problem which prevented the webpage from displaying.



Thats what I got last time, but Lesley-Ann managed to sort things out for me and did the application for me as well. I have still got my personal profile on the site and my password still works, I just cant do the trial assignment. I have emailed Lesley this morning and I am just waiting for a response.

I am having problems doing surveys today because of technical difficulties with the website. OC's IT department are looking into the problem. I know a co-worker friend of mine is having similar difficulties.

Well I have heard from Lesley Ann and I have been reinstated:j

Cant wait to start working which should be on Monday. Can anyone advise what would be the best times to work on this? I can easily do 15-20 hours per week on this, but want to know what the best times are to call people?

The best times to call people depend on which surveys you are doing and, currently, what the weather is! Some people are stuck at home at the moment!

If you are calling people at home you can call from morning until 8pm and find people willing to do surveys. Clearly, if you are calling businesses, it will depend on the working hours.

Hiya Paul,

I'm about to start on the OC surveys this Saturday.

I did want to start a while back, although I've been training for a new job so had to put OC on the backburner for a bit. Also needed to sort my phone package out (for the free 0845 calls).

All ready to go now though! Ideally, I'll be looking to make my survey calls in the morning / lunchtime, as I'll be working for my other employer in the afternoon / evenings.

Paul, if you don't mind me asking, is it a fairly regular, reliable income for you?

I appreciate that it's down to how many surveys we actually do.

Would just be good to know that it does pay to bother with!

You asked a similar question in an earlier post. As in my earlier reply, I indicated that Optimum Contact has given me a reliable income for some time now. But work is never guaranteed, some work may be seasonal and contracts do come and go.

I think it is a good idea that you do have two jobs, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

Am just a bit hesitant and nervous about starting the surveys I suppose.

However, I won't know if it's worthwhile until I try it, so I'm looking forward to getting cracking this Saturday!

What are the file formats that you can send? I have a dictaphone that records aiff and dss files but I think I can convert those into mp3s and other formats.
