Aviva car insurance - Approved Repairers

    Yeah. I still can't lay hands on £850 though. (since you need to pay it and then claim it back later) :(

    Plus no courtesy car for non approved repairer repairs, either :mad:

    But you chose to accept those terms. Spilt milk now.

    You can claim half of all your out of pocket expenses of the third party, so could consider hiring a car (though if you use your own garage they may still provide a courtesy car anyway, as part of their service)

    Don't all insurers void the courtesy car benefit if you use a non approved repairer?

    We got a courtesy car from Vauxhall, when they picked ours up.

    I meant that your own garage might still provide you a courtesy car (not aviva)

    If you do not use Aviva car insurance - Approved Repairers they will not organise your hire car and they take weeks to organise the inspection. Some policies also carry and additional excess.

    It is taking so long I could not recommend them.

    It seems that the list linked to in this thread is well out of date - the repairer I wanted to use is no longer in their approved network :(:(:(
