Galaxy S ringtones
Hi All
I've just got a Galaxy S after having had a BB Storm for two years. I'm struggling a bit to get to grips and I've just found what may be a deal breaker. One of the things I used to be able to do was to customise riingtones so that I could have the phone on silent but certain numbers could still be set to ring. This is invaluable as I have two babies at nursery so could go into a meeting at work knowing that the phone would only ring if it was the nursery phoning and everything else would stay silent. I've looked for a way to do this but can't seem to, does anybody know if it can be done? It seems like an ok phone but this added to the battery life and loss of internet connection may be the final straw!

Contacts choose contact EDIT .
Scroll down Ringtone SOUND .
Here i would do a search and download ring tones you like before assigning to numbers .
Quick Settings via the Apps market should give you better battery life as you can switch off Bluetooth GPS Mobile Data WiFi when not needed .

thankyou so much for the replies and apologies for delay in getting back to you........
I've managed to get the battery to last a day with not very heavy use, I'm still considering whether to return and swap but from what I've read it sounds like phones of this type do suffer in the battery department and something else wouldn't necessarily be better!
I'm off to sort my ringtones out :-)0 -
