I actually ended up making lasagne as I got home and discovered there was no yoghurt so in actual fact all I had was curry pasteSo I gave it up as a bad job
But it'll be back on the menu next week with some of these fab ideas!
That was going to be my suggestion, use the ingredients and do a pasta dish instead. Alternatively, you could have swapped nights with what you had planned for tonight and do the curry tonight instead.0 -
I make a curry with potatoes in it all the time, so I reckon you could definitely get away with that - I normally just throw them in with the curry when it's cooking, although I use baking potatoes so not sure if new potatoes would be too delicate.
Noodles would be my other suggestion if you have any, I believe it's quite common to eat curry with noodles in south east Asia."A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge." - Tyrion LannisterMarried my best friend 1st November 2014Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")0 -

I am an avid meat-eater, yet my absolute favourite HM curry is the potato and pea one my OH makes with HM chapatis! :T0
