I love curry with mash ~ chilli n mash is great too. Okay, I just like mash. Seriously though, it's yummy, all the sauce soaked into the potatoes, scrum.I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.
Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.0 -

I'm not a fan of boiled rice so while the rest of the family have rice with curry, I always have mine served with a baked potato and a good knob of butter.

Do you have any noodles? this is always a popular choice in our house but as others have said you can't beat curry and chips0

Do you have cauliflower by any chance? It makes a surprisingly good substitute for rice - cook it until it is falling apart and a bit more, squeeze the water out in a tea towel and mash it up with a fork. The water takes a bit of squeezing, (so best left to cool until you can handle it) but you need it fairly dry or it makes your curry watery. This was a trick we used when we were doing the Atkins diet. It is quite nice, actually!Trust me - I'm NOT a doctor!0
