Forum down tonight

Hi folks,

Unfortunately, we had a pretty severe server crash this evening which took us down for quite awhile. We're back up now but we've had to disable a few of our custom functions to ensure that we're working correctly so there may be some buttons missing until morning.

Please note that we're taking the Forum down again around 3am this morning to backup the database and it will likely be down for another couple of hours at that point.

Apologies for the inconvenience folks and thanks for bearing with us. Many thanks to MSE Ian and MSE Neil for stepping up and getting the Forum running again.

If you spot any glitches or errors, please report them here.

I spent the evening wandering through StumbleUpon and found some great sites. Nowt quite like MSE though. :A

Just to let you know Webby, it hasn't gone unnoticed how the team quickly gathered together on a sunday evening, effectively spoiling their weekend in order to keep MSE running. Well done to each of you and I know I am not alone in appreciating such a gallant effort by the team.
