So disappointed

Nearly every time I have won tickets, I have had to collect them from the venue box office. I always usually ring the box office to check whether the tickets are there and if so what night they are for. I know its a bit of a pain but I would rather do that than be left disappointed. Afterall its just a quick phone call. Hope you get it sorted. Many thanks to the wonderful staff at Birmingham Childrens Hospital caring for my tiny and very poorly grandson who was born at 29 weeks. Thanks to them he is getting a little stronger every day.:A:A:A0

That's what I do as well, I loved the ANNIE show we went to last month & when I called theatre to ask about the tickets they couldn't have been more helpful. They are aware of which competitions were running to win tickets so just check your name of a list & let you know which night you need to arrive for.2025 - finally back comping after a stressful house move - send me fairy dust please0 -
I didnt know what to do i havent won tickets before, i was assuming they were coming by post or the curve were going to ring me when i could pick them up, you live and learn, it was a complete breakdown of communication, i did ask how i could get the tickets but was told lucy would ring so its not really my fault yet i feel it everyone thinks it is

No-one thinks it's your fault, but personally I wouldn't let it drop I would get in touch with the ISP details I've posted as they will help you get some kind of prize although obviously now it won't be what you originally won.2025 - finally back comping after a stressful house move - send me fairy dust please0

Sorry to hear you never got your prize. Hope you manage to get something sorted out with the company.0

Thank you for posting this thread. I've been trying to claim a printer since january. Annoying thing is mine has just gone kaput so could really use it. Getting to the point where I feel like a nuisance now, the person dealing with it has left the firm now and basically washed their hands of the whole thing even though they told me they were arranging delivery back in early august. I'll try contacting one more time and then contact that email address.
Hope you get something out of this daisy

7 What happens if my prize doesn’t turn up?
This is going to be individual to each comp. Usually it will state in the T & C for each comp how long it should take for the prizes to be dispatched to winners. As a general rule though or in the absence of any particular details in the T & C, allow 28 days, (allow more if we are experiencing postal strikes or extreme weather conditions). If the prize hasn't arrived by then, get in touch with the company offering the prize. Try to contact the person whose details you have & ask politely if there is a problem with delivery. A telephone call is the best way, but failing that try emailing them. If they don't reply, look on the original website for contact details & contact them, again being as polite as you can.
If you still get no response from them, there are a few different things you can try.
The Institute of Sales Promotions complaints@isp.org.uk lay down the guidelines which comp organisors must follow. MSE Compers have reported that they are very good at investigating dodgy comps & missing prizes with one chap in particular Edwin Mutton, being an absolute star.
The Advertising Standards Authority have an online complaints form.
I had an issue with a prize not turning up & after chasing politely for 5 months, I mentioned that I had been advised to talk to the Institute of Sales Promotions about the matter. Funnily enough that resulted in a letter of apology within a few days, along with a box of ‘Apology Goodies’ & my prize turned up 2 weeks later. Just remember to keep your cool & remain polite.Im so sorry there seems to be a lot us us that havent received prizes its really not on and it makes me so angry, thing is it dosent do the company any good because its not very professional.

I just want to say a massive thank you daisy for posting the OP and all the help above and to say daisy I hope you kept trying and contacted that email?
Within 2 weeks of contacting the above email i received today 2 huge boxes and an apology from the company. It's my biggest win ever (An expensive printer and loads of inks and papers) and very much needed and appreciated so thank you everyone
