Hello everyone, i thought id pop in and say hello at long last and to say thank you all that post comps, im getting rather addicted

Anyway last tues i got a winning email from the curve theatre here in leics to see vertical road, the lady that emailed me said "lucy" fom curve would be contacting me regards me picking up my tickets, well no one has rung, i emailed the lady friday to say the show was already running and was ending sat (last night) and i STILL hadnt heard from this lucy as to what im supposed to do :mad:

She said not to worry she you usually pick your tickets up when you go?!? fine but when DO i go??!!

Well i have had no contact so didnt get to go what should i do now? im so grumpy about it. xx

Call them and ask if you still get some kind of prize? Maybe tickets to an alternative show? Be persistent! Good luck

Sympathies. I had a similar experience with a comp on Great British Life. It was an Emma Bridgewater VIP factory visit + yoghurt! Following the WEM I heard nothing so wrote again and this time got an agenda for the day - it did seem well thought out including decorating our own pots. They asked for dates when we could go for them to choose from so I sent 9 and offered to send more if needed. Heard nothing since and no yoghurt either. I've given up as it feels that whoever is at the factory end of the comp just doesn't want visitors and I 'd feel uncomfortable!

Oh i am sorry that is just awful, isnt there a place you can put a complaint into?
ive just sent an email to the lady who was running the comp it was from route 69? anyway i just said i never recieved any call or tickets and im disappointed and left it like that.

Why do they offer a prize then dont give it out? its really cruel and unfair. xxx

My advice for what its worth is keep at them. Follow up as quickly as you can your email. I had a situation earlier this year where in the middle of me arranging a trip to Amsterdam, the person dealing with the prize left mid way through the arrangements - she didn't bother to tell anyone else. Luckily I managed to get in touch with the firm, and everything was sorted. So, if you don't get satisfaction from the people who organized the comp, i.e the Emma Bridgewater, even try a phone call to their customer services and let them know how badly let down you feel. Just don't let it drop.
Remember, he who shouts loudest and longest gets heard.

Keep banging on at them, I'm still trying to find out what has happened to a couple of prizes I'm expecting (harddrive and a PS3 game).

Well still no news for me, ive sent two emails explaining i havent received any call or tickets and im just being ignored, what to do xx

Contact ISP, I think that's the name now, they are FAB at sorting out stuff like this. Check out the details you need in comping guide at top of page HTH x

keep at it... don't despair...as suggested they may be able to get you to see a different show. Have you tried phoning the theatre to speak to lucy ?

I had a similar problem , the woman actually went off sick for the whole of the summer holidays they are only human after all

No im not going to chase the theatre up its not down to me, i thought the competition site where i entered was surely the ones to take it up? xx
