best sim only deal - talk time + unlt texts

With vodaphone, pay as you go, but it's costing too much. Like the look of their £10 sim only deal, but just cannot get through the process (have tried for two days).

Anyway, now looking out for other options...any thoughts? Have had a root around forum, but a lot of deals have ltd shelf life! Have a really basic phone and just want to be able to use it for calls during the day and have unlimited texts, if possible.

Virgin looks good, but there's a £12 a month deal, which is confusing - either you only pay £6 for the furst 3 months OR you pay an additional £6 for the first 3 months!!!

Budget - no more than £12 month, if poss...thanks in advance...

tesco mobile currently 300min and unltd text for £10

Depends what PAYG you have. Try to negotiate with retentions of your provider.
Otherwise ring retentions of o2.
Got 600 min, unlimited:
texts,
landline calls,
data.
All four for £15 per month. Simplicity for 12 months.

Have just gone for a Tesco mobile sim only deal, its instore only or over the phone,
costs £10 for 500 mins, unlimited texts and data on a rolling 30 day contract.
Theres a big thread on HUKD about it.

Here is the link to tesco deal. but they say its £15 deal. o2 is the carrier for tesco mobile.

It is definitely 500 minutes etc £10 a month .Its a special deal not the one on website.

Just gone for virgin £8.50 100 mins unlimited text and unlimited virgin to virgin
