How to find what network a number is on??

You can find what network it started on ,but it wont tell you if its been ported.Nor will it tell you if its a virtual mobile network no like EasyM,it just tell you network of origin.EG T-Mob in that case.

The simple reason is that basically no central record is kept of a mobile or landline number if a person ports their number to another network.
Not even BT are aware which network a mobile number may now belong to after its been ported which is why they charge for calls to mobiles as if they're made to the original network.
