Do morrisons or waitrose take coupons?

Hi guys - I live very near to a Waitrose, and I can confirm my local store does take the Olay vouchers. Also I tried Somerfield yesterday for the Coast ones, and also one from the (free) Somerfield magazine - no problem. (just to confirm - I did not purchase the relevant items, just politely asked 'can you see if this coupon will scan please?).

Yesterday in Morrisons I used a voucher for 2 free 'Bounty' kitchen rolls. The packs of 2 have a free roll at the moment, so basically I got 3 rolls for nothing! No probs at all.

My local Waitys keep changing their mind about how many vouchers they will accept.
Sometimes they say they will only take 5, other times they say no more than one third of the total bill, other times they just put the lot through. Very confusing and depends which till person you get.
I have used Olay coupons in there no probs.

Morrisons will only take the coupon if you have purchased the product.

OOh..I live very close to a waitrose too and I have seven of these vouchers..not sure if I have the guts to use them all..I may risk 4 on Monday.

Reply: I have only just in the last couple of weeks discovered this whole coupon thang - I had always thought you had to buy the item! So I have tried to follow other people's suggested guidelines on some of the MSE threads and only used up to about a third coupons per purchase - although I have to say that in Waitrose they don't seem to bat an eyelid, I am sure I could use more, but don't want them to call a supervisor to check (paranoid - moi?). Hope it isn't too off-thread to say that I tried the Olay vouchers in Tesco today, but they would not scan. However, I had some quick read ones obtained from on-line auction and they scanned fine - put my shopping thru in 3 lots, and used a few vouchers for each payment. Good luck!

Yesterday i got £25 off and payed 33p cash in waitrose!! Used 3 olay, internet printed and a few quick reads and some others too.
