Getting an old blue remote to work with sky+

Dont throw any old ancient blue remotes away as they can be programmed to work with sky+......you wont have any record facility, but all other features work and they are ideal for a 2nd tv in bedroom or kitchen
on the old remote
press tv
press blue/select together
press "1"
press select
press sky
And save yourself a tenner
on the old remote
press tv

Thanks for that. Will they control the volume too? My parents have one of light grey boxes with the light grey remote which is bust. Really annoying having to use the blue remote and the TV remote for volume.0
