    Morning Ani. :)

I hope you got some sleep? And some scs? (I found 10 and my plants seem still to be there).

Lots of good wishes for this week... I saw you mentioned the bank. Is that where the money was paid in by accident by some company? I hope that gets sorted - I somehow don't see how you can be held liable for it though.

So much to do. :( We will cheer you on of course and be ready with hugs morning noon and night.

Here we are to start your week:

The weather matches my mood today. Or my mood matches the weather? So maybe it's a grey mood? Somewhere in between, but bordering on the edge. Glad i did the washing.

I really can't be arised to sort out my payments, but it's in my interests, isn't it. When have i ever received roughly the same amount of income in any one week, in the last what? 16 years? Is there any wonder i can't manage my money. What little of it there is. Had the mail for today. No letter regarding dla. Gawd, that would be life changing money, to me. Stuff quarter mill. Can you imagine the difference 50 quid a week would make to me? Not even a days pay. Best not spend too much time dreaming about it, because that's all it is. A dream. Do i have the courage not to pay the rent today? I've already overpaid by £100, but they just don't see it that way. I wonder if these people sat in offices have any clue what it's like, trying to live? I suppose i should do another soa, since it's already changed since the dro. I suppose i should do this. I suppose i should do that.

It's not just that though. The bank won't even discuss my accounts with me, and have withdrawn all access to my accounts, so i can't even monitor what is happening with them. I haven't a clue. I went into the bank on saturday, and as far as i can tell, i've paid off one of my overdrafts, although of course, it isn't my money. I could potentially lose the benefits and dro i've had to fight so hard for, and have a company sueing me for money which wasn't mine in the first place? :o I know i shouldn't be worrying about it, but you can't help but worry.

And guess what? I couldn't even remember where i'd parked my car on saturday. Not where i'd parked in a car park, but where i'd parked it. I was panic stricken. How bad is that?

I take it the not paying rent is because there isn't the money to do that and ...? Like eat or pay another bill? Housing is such a massive chunk of anyone's money. :(

I suppose even a token payment is something but as you say, 'they' don't look at it that way. Incidentally £100 paid back is a lot.

Soa - only if it helps. As you say, the goal posts keep moving.

My advice - fwiw - is pick one thing to tackle and focus on that. Or come and do my piano practice for me.

We have sunshine here today: hopefully it will spread.

I'm not sure which board that belongs on but there must be someone with insider knowledge somewhere. I'm not sure it whether it would help to contact the company and ask whether they've retrieved the money, but the mistake is theirs - effectively they've 'lost' it and the bank has taken it - not you, as it's deposited with them and you've not taken it out or authorised them to do anything on your behalf.

I've been calling them every day last week, but there's been no reply. My guess is that someone only works in the finance department part time, on payroll. I also asked them to send me several copies of a letter stating their error. Pigs might fly. It's a very costly error, all ways round. That will teach someone to be more careful in future. Just can't get the staff, can you? My guess is due to the dro etc, the bank isn't going to let them retrieve the money.

Which is bad news for me. :o

You just wouldn't believe it could happen, but if it was going to happen, it would happen to me, for sure.

Scary at the time, but you must have worked it out. I was talking to a friend the other day who lost car keys when on holiday. It took half an hour, but they worked out where they had last been seen, retraced their steps and the keys were there( in a shop - the assistant had noticed and put them aside).

We wandered through a multi-storey car park the other day and suddenly realised we had no idea which floor we'd parked on. Must be something in the air.

Give ani a pat of the bonnet and say you love her really. :) I bet she knew you'd be back.

We all do these things occasionally. Nasty at the time I know, but you aren't the only one.

My guess is that you state that in a letter to their HR Department, copy in the company manager and your bank and leave it with them. I don't see that you can do more.

Not showing off, are you? :D

Mozart - Polonaise from 'Viennese Sonatina', K. 439b, No. 5. I have it in F and can't even find it on t'internet so I'm guessing they've simplified it beyond recognition.

It's quite light and pretty really - but I think a week without playing and a few weeks of repetition and it's starting to sound wooden.
