Life after bankruptcy?

Practitalies. The money is still showing in my account, plus the wtc which has hit today. Seemingly, it takes as long to get people to stop, paying you benefits, as it does for them to award them. Wtc will have to be repaid, although i've no idea how much. They know i've been receiving wtc. heyho. Of course, the wtc was a lesser amount. As i'm still somewhat paranoid about other people's access to my bank accounts, ( and i know every man and his dog has access to view them on their systems,) a trip to the bank is in order today, which is, unfortunately, miles away, whilst i see if that money is, actually, real, and if so, i need to be one step ahead of the game, as there is a pecking order of my creditors, and i try and regain some sort of financial control. Nothing is going to be repaid until i see the da, but at least now the da may be able to create a soa. Urgh, which means some more work on my part, as i'll have to get everything together for that meeting. Mind you i've still got to wait for the other benefits to be awarded, and to see how much they are. Stop it. How did the trip to the bank go, Ani?
In other news, I have planted beetroot and perennial sweet peas, which may seem an odd mixture, but there's nowt as queer as folks. Besides, I've wanted perennial sweet peas since Adam was a lad.Miggy

Ani I think the only cherry b I've ever had has been as a teenager when we used to pilfer drinks from our parents drinks cabinets.
Oh and martini, I remember my mum drinking that.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Yuuuuuk,
Yep, you used to have drinks cabinets in the 70's. And bloody cheese balls, which i hated. And petit fours, which i also hated. And don't forget the b*y glace cherries on sticks. I hate them , too.Debt free - Is it a state of mind? a state of the Universe? or a state of the bank account?

my parents drinks cabinet was more a box in the wardrobe of the spare room, as a reminder of days when they used to entertain...before I came along and put a stop to all thati'm deff with you on cheese balls (and I love cheese but they are WRONG! and smell like feet) I must admit I am rather partial to a glace cherry though...do you rememeber the paper umbrellas and plastic animals you used to get in drinks - even in places like Berni inns? Guess they aren't allowed now as would be considered a choking hazard (well only if the child is silly enough to try and eat a plastic monkey!) honestly, it's all H&S overkill these days - no wonder there's so few people who can actually use a bit of common sense)
So, how was the bank? xFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

God, its not my day. i just wrote a very long post and computer crashed and i've lost it.
The bank was fine, i had money in the bank, ( i've withdrawn it, as a precaution). I had to ask wr what to do with it. Does it sound stupid i've no idea what to do with it? i.e. am i allowed to buy food with it, or do i just give to my creditors? I don't even know what to do with money anymore.
The event was surpassed by a letter from my sharing, caring council, today, the potted contents of which say they are taking me to court for repossession of this place.
All gardening has been suspended.
Thats a potted (hah) version of what i just wrote

What is wrong with me? Repossession for a second time in 18 months. It's definitely the end of the road, being homeless for a second time. There's nowhere to go. What would the council do? Put me on the waiting list for somewhere to live? When they have already evicted me for not paying the rent. I only owe half what they claim i owe them, and its mostly from when i've been off sick. Daft !!!!!!s, and its less than they tried to steal from my bank account. I don't have the energy to fight against them. I'm tempted to ring them tomorrow and tell them to stick this place. But then i've got to decide what to do with my possessions. Do i try and dispose of them first, or should i just leave them. The arian in me just wants to shove my fingers up at them.Debt free - Is it a state of mind? a state of the Universe? or a state of the bank account?

I love cheese too, there IS just something about cheese balls. Paper umbrella's. I think we should have a final retro party. Do they still have Berni inn's? WE never came to any harm without h and s, for heavens sake
And for all those mancunians out there, whatever happened to the kardomah coffee house? ( used to be in st ann's square) :rotfl:For that matter the great american disaster, i think it was called. I'm not a burger fan, but they did THE best burgers, ever. Those were the days. An afternoon of football legends, followed by a burger at tgad.Debt free - Is it a state of mind? a state of the Universe? or a state of the bank account?
