  • I was having similar thoughts Beenie. Had a look at what they had in stock at Sainsburys at the minute and discovered that there is not a lot available there that is on my boys wish list. It may well be that they have not got their full Christmas stock in yet.

Picked up some toy story bits and a new ben 10 toy from Argos as suspect they will go OOS all over the place. Deliberating whether to get the handy manny and lego stuff from argos while on 3 for 2.

My other thought is I was really lucky with Sainsburys online last year as a lot of people thought it was instore only and I stayed up until midnight and managed to get everything I wanted and was extatic! I have a feeling demand will be through the roof this year though and I wonder if it will be like the boots 75% sale all over again - site crashing etc.
  • I remember Woolworths doing this just before they closed down!! Great savings though!
    Top Cash Back: £882
    Boots Card: £160
  • Just got back from Argos in Crawley. If you pay at the quickpay tills make sure you get your 3 for 2. Mine came up at full price so I went to the cashier who said the deal wasn't working at the quickpay for some reason.

well spent ages hunting for the talking WOODY/JESSIE AND LOTSO all at £39.99...funny could never get all three in one store and was tempted to buy fillers to take advantage of the third "free" toy...gave up went to Smyths online got Lotso,Jessie and Woody for just under £1009the talking toybox ones) ...including delivery ...argos is more expensive on every item...IF i could have got at argos it would have cost me in this offer £79.98 plus about £6 postage ...about £86 for three items in a 3 for 2 offer.....or £98 for the same three items in a different store without a 3 for 2 offer..including delivery...just advising people to shop around :)...the chances of Argos having Lotso or woody in stock ,in the same store before this offer ends are slim

  • I don't mind where I buy Lotso from but begrudge paying anything close to £40 really, my daughter will be 11 soon so can honestly see this being another novelty item that will be dumped on the shelf lol. Got her a lovely Lotso necklace from eBay for £4, just need to get her a few more bits. Does anyone know where I can buy 'stocking filler' items with Lotso on?

Not sure if i should take advantage of this offer. Am still holding out for the Sainsbury's half price one, which could never happen.

Just been into Sainsburys and they had the lists on the shelves showing how / where the toy stock has to be displayed. A lot of empty shelves so looks like they are starting to stock up.
Unfortunately I noticed after collecting my 3 for 2 reserved items at Argos, aagh!!

Suppose if the Sainsbury's one happens in the next 30 days, then I can always take the Argos ones back for a refund. Saying that, have just checked the Sainsburys website and they don't have some of the toys I want.
  • They have Lots o in stock at ELC and with the muller little stars 20% off code it makes it £32, free postage if you order over £75 or you can use the voucher in store
  • I didn't think ELC sold Disney products, will go look in store then see if I can get hold of a voucher from somewhere.
