Agree that flight prices generally have gone up a good deal compared to a couple of years ago.
You'll probably see a good many more "sales" before March. Of course, you'll always pay more on BA or SAA than on Ethiopian or Egyptair.
A quick search throws up around £580 with Iberia or Qatar Airways for March, yet you currently find more or less the same prices for November. So why rush and book now, rather than wait & watch?0 -
I would allow a good deal more than two hours for the change at AMS. What if Easyjet were seriously late, as they often are these days? One strategy would be to have a short break in Amsterdam before beginning the journey to South Africa.
Ethiopian are actually fine.0
