  • Well my payment hasn't made it in time, in fact it still doesn't appear to have cleared this evening, so I have got my £12.00 late fee and lost my 0% deal. Well at least I will know better for next time. I just hope it doesn't affect my credit rating.

Thank you for all your help.

If it was sent via FP it will have made it. My payment to MBNA each month always reaches them the day I send it.
What bank did you send payment from and how much was it for ?

If your bank operates faster payments it will have hit the account today. Payments sometimes don't show up on MBNA's online banking until the day after they are credited - but when they do appear they show as being credited to the account on the right date.

Exel1966 and Degenerate are right. It might show in your favour by tomorrow. Call them in the morning on 0800 783 1116 and explain the situation. You might get the nice, decent, fair person I spoke to, who doesn't do his job properly, allegedly. ;)

Santander, the payment was for £50.00 and I spoke to MBNA and it has only just arrived today, so it didn't make it.

There was your problem. Still not sending faster payments from their internet banking.
