Whatever did or didn't happen on the nights, I think it was extremely brave to go on the show in the first place and even more so to read through everyone's comments here!

There's nothing wrong with being a homebody, Tuppie. If you move around a lot and your OH does a dangerous job, it's very easy to understand why family time is so important to you.

I think we can all agree tonight's show and your comments made for an interesting lesson in editing!

Now, let's hope the comping fairy brings you a big win to cheer you up.

I've started watching it on TV On Demand.

Pre show I had in my mind some fella who was a bully. Watching it and, well where is the bully? First host simply cooked the beef wrong. Then in my opinion at the next host, you were simply asked a simple question about your social life, in my opinion he was asking a genuine question and you got upset. I don't think he asked it patronising, rude or to get a reaction. IMO your reaction was over the top. Now i'm up to the part where you are telling people about your cats ashes. Why did you not tell him that the previous day?

I understand that he made comments that were not shown but because you didn't tell us that in your original posts then we would have no idea.

If you had not told us you were going to appear on the show then I wonder how many people on here would of thought you weren't a nice person?

Sorry but I think you posted on here originally to get some kind of sympathy.

just watching on 4od now i think anyone who goes on these type of shows are very brave ! i don't think id have the courage tbh. of course we dont know everything that happened but no idea who the bully is so far tbh. must be the editing as u sound nice here but don't come accross too great on tv. well done for trying though ! xx

Well i just want to say well done for going on the show in the first place.I could never be on come dine with me.I am probably more suited for maybe jezza kyle or even that other one erm jerry springer.I have my own opinions of how you came across on the show but don't really feel the need to air them.All in all i enjoyed watching the show last night and also thought the first guy was rather fit.Anyway it was an entertainment programme that done what it said on the tin and kept me entertained so thank you for that

and at least u had manners to ask for a napkin rather than spit it out across the dinner table, that is what I call rude
and yessss that steak was rare you could have gone to a field and took a bite out of one, yuck

Can I just say that I am fully aware of the way that the media can twist things to make them different than they appear. I once appeared in the centre pages of a well known natiional newspaper under the heading "We love taking our tops off!" - It was actually about girls who own convertible cars, and we spoke about the positive and negative attention we received while driving our cars. I was interviewed over the phone and I was asked what car I had driven prior to purchasing my convertible, and said that it was a little Metro. The interviewer asked whether I'd be likely to drive a Metro again and I said I probably wouldn't as I would have no need to.
When the article went to print, I was quoted as saying that I'd never be seen dead in a Metro. That is something I would never, ever say in any circumstances. It upset me quite alot to see that in print, and thought that people would think I was a right b*tch.
So I just wanted to say that things are not always how they are portrayed. (And I would have spat food out that I didn't like into a napkin. I think that's the most discreet way of doing it. Much better than trying to eat it and throwing up everywhere, or spitting it back onto my plate!)
