I'm Indian too Kit! LOL. I don't celebrate it anymore, stopped a long time ago. And as I said DS is scared of fireworks so no point trying to explain it to him. It's not actual Diwali until 5 November, but you know what's it like, they want to celebrate all week long0

LOL I am a very anglofied Indian. Since meeting my Geordie DH, I don't cook anything Indian. He can't eat hot food, so waste of time making it, Mum was vegetarian, so we didn't eat meat at home.0

Well that's it. Steve will definitely propose to you. My sister's husband was Scottish. He was v nice they are divorced now. He still sees the girls and is nice to me.
It was really funny when i moved down south as whenever i invited friend over and cooked English food they were disappointed. Finally someone said can't you do indian Kit? Mum had to give me a chicken recipe and you can use that for any meat really. solves all my problems.
Susan will be pleased hubby is a Geordie. I like their accents. V nice.
Right off to do some marking. steve has just rung me and reminded me i have a job and i must keep it.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220
