I was hoping you would say that - I knew you would really, you're such a gentleman - and you would have the pleasure of Kit's compnay even longer than us!!!! :j
Just checking and Peterborough does have Travelodges now - they didn't have when we lived there - so checking them out but so far I see that the nearest to town (actually in town) is £35.75 per room per night with one at Alwalton which is half a mile from city is £29. The one just off the city centre at £35.75 is the other side of city to the railway station but you are only talking 1 mile
The nearest £19 one is 17 miles from Peterborough
the £29 sounds good where is the £19 one?0 -
It's Ok now - I switched it off at the wall while I made a drink - no, it's only water - Mr 3Dogs says I'm the only person who would dilute water as I put about 1/4 of a glass of flavoured water and 'dilute' it with cold filtered water. anyway, when I switched it on, it came on OK again, luckily

I am normally a fast reader too SavingWannabe.
But I read it slow, as I read it when backpacking across europeDFW#972 LBM2 (09/07/12) £25938.84; Current £23783.35;Credit Credit Card1 £128.47/£6424.24 (2%);Credit Card2 £443.86/£15663.25 (2.8%); Overdraft £0/£2500 (0%)0 -
I'll put the link up in a minute but I wouldn't be able to book ours till Friday as you have to pay when you book, or we could just travel across daily as it's only half an hour - but I would feel like I was missing part of the experience if we didn't stay over with you lot7
The other thing about Peterborough is, if anyone does want to make a weekend of it, they could just come down for the day by train or car and meet up with us in townMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

ok i will enjoy it. It is sooo good. I feel happy, it is here next to me. Maybe one day i will turn into Firewalker ok, kit let's be realistic, a Firewalker YTS. I think she is the cleverest person i have ever met. I know lots of university lecturers and ambassadors etc but she is righteous, kind, wholesome and 'good' - do people understand what i mean? I feel safe. I only came back to MSE because of her. I would have missed the chance to meet all these amazing people. Susan i am so grateful. I can't believe it. I am going to cry again.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220
