Glad you had a good day sweetie. PS do you realise how many people think you are fab. Firewalker cares so much. I wanted to PM her for help but she came on her own, she is lovely. OH poop, are you covered by the AA/RAC etc? Do you know a nice mechanic?Aiming for a minimal spend 20220

When you turn the ignition key on to start the engine, it 'turns' the engine (the pistons start moving) and it fires up and starts. If the engine is not turning or just weakly trying to turn it could be a flat battery. If, like we got last weekend, it just goes 'click' with no movement from the actual engine, it could be starter motor or solenoid

The engine is not turning over, I think it might be a flat battery.
I have a charger, so i will try and charge it tomorrow. So I will have to skive and have a day off.

Do you need the car for work tomorrow Frit? If you have Home Start with you breakdown service, it would be better to get them out tonight rather than in the monring. Or do you have someone local that can help you sort it out?
Ooops just seen your post Frit - if you put it on charge overnight, it would be Ok for tomorrow morning - that's if you know where your charger is of course? You can never find things like that when you need them

Yeah the problem is it is pitch black and I think my charger is in the outhouse.
So have to do it tomorrow.
My work is quite flexible, so I will book a day off.
Unfortunately I do not have breakdown cover as the car is only two and a half years old. I was going to get some once it was three years oldDFW#972 LBM2 (09/07/12) £25938.84; Current £23783.35;Credit Credit Card1 £128.47/£6424.24 (2%);Credit Card2 £443.86/£15663.25 (2.8%); Overdraft £0/£2500 (0%)0
