If you are on netmums.com look for Netmums Meetup Groups. There should be one in your area. There should be a chairmum and possibly a right hand mum. Message the chairmum about next meetups, etc. They are a friendly bunch of mums and once they get to know you, more likely to come for tea and playdates, and invite DD back too.

I know, I am a RHM for my local group.
