I got easily good marks at what is same as your GCSEs without much work but then during A levels came crashing down as it was a lot more demanding and I wasn't putting the work in. Lucky I managed to find a way to get to uni without good A level results.

An economist is an expert who will know tomorrow why the things he predicted yesterday didn't happen today.
I think I would make a good economist :cool:
They draw diagrams, look confused. Do calculations, get confused. Look at the news, shake their heads and get confused.
