Can't sleep. Happy though. I must stop drinking so much tea at work. I will save money too. It is pitch black outside. Everything is quiet. I hope everyone is fast asleep.

Many moons ago worked for an accessible transport firm (ring & ride) its wear & tear from that mainly along with arthritis in my feet back & a car accident a few years ago that left me with other complications along with spinal damage

Hmm thats one of the biggest reasons for deciding on the surgery the little guy..feel so helpless some days when I struggle getting down on the floor to him....sure i'm scared but i've gone through worse!

thank you again for the warm welcome x

reading through the thread to try and help at the end. but saw this. Were you not able to get compensation for the injuries. If you were, are you able to go back to court for more money because more injuries have started to happen if you see what i mean?

Howdy everyone - nice to see you posting Chevalier :j

SW - another night awake at 4 am

I deliberately did not come on here this morning as we need to get on with the van and other bits, and I knew it would distract me ;)

Mr 3Dogs put the charged battery on the van this morning but ..... click ..... did not turn the engine. He cycled along to our local (1 mile) ptrol station for an auto tester to check what was working and what wasn't but they did not have one. He rang his mate who is very good with motors, who told him how to check the battery and thestarter motor, etc, and when he checked it seems that the starter motor is kaput. I rang our local (8 miles away) motor spares store who quoted either £110 or £172 depending on which model needed   I then rang the local (2 or 3 miles away) scrap yard which he has used befoe, and they have one in their store and 2 others still on motors - cost? £25. so he is off on his cycle now poor thing. I did rang his mate back to see if he could pick him up but no reply, so he is either fast asleep watching telly (a habit of his) or working in his workshop, so he had to gt there himself

Hopefully (fingers crossed people) he can get the part and then come home and fit it, and it then works

Oh how stressful, Poor Mr 3Dogs, fingers crossed that it is possible to repair the van and after today all will be well.I hope you can make him a nice drink he will be exhausted with all the rushing around. I have not done v much today. There is a pile of marking waiting for me and then i have to do some homework for English. It is bright and breezy outside. I am so tired for some bizarre reason. ~Chat soon. I really dont fancy going out tonight or even tomorrow. I might have to text Penny. love you and good luck.

Thanks SW - yes we hope that he can fix it with the part he has gone for - at least it is fine here today - it's not sunny but it is dry and not to cold :)

No work done yet  Toss a coin to decide between ironing or marking ...................... nah, forget the ironing, just get on with that marking :j

I am going to chop up some melons, then cook something for hubbie to have when he gets back - back laters :D

How's Mr.3Dogs going on the van? Are you going to be moblie for shoping tomorrow? And SW, what's going on love? Waking up at that time in a morning {{Hugs}} it's not good for you, and good luck with resisting the crisp's, fat chance of me being able to do that, even if I'm in the front room I can hear them *calling* me to eat them. Still I don't buy them as offten now. 3Dogs what made you go for SW instead of WW? I'v done both and still stayed the same weight, but SW was about 8/9 years ago.And I realy need a kick up the 'arris to lose weight.

Hello Boult, i have just heard from 3Dogs, They must be exhausted with all of the rushing around and worry.I wont spoil the story and wait for her to tell you.

I am ok i am waking up as i worry about nonsense. If i log on here it calms down. I am sure it is linked to caffeine consumption i do drink too much. No crisps today but only because i have not been out!

Stevie hello poppet. You must be exhausted after your fantastic trip to London yesterday. Next time you go to the Tate Modern can you pick me up some artwork? i am willing to spend £2million pounds on some scribbles!
People do, the mind boggles. :j:j:jBut i do like Museums we need to remember our past.

    Off to cook curry.
