Tesco internet on BB Storm

Hi I have just signed up for Tesco's deal where you get 500 mins of calls unlimited texts and unlimited data.
I am using my old unlocked Blackberry Storm. I want to give it to my wife. the phone works fine
The man in Tesco said the internet would work fine.
I have since found out that the internet doesn't work.
The tech team at Tesco help desk said I should download Opera mini and then change some settings.
I have tried to download opera mini via the PC ont the Storm.
Now whenever I click on Opera mini on the storm it just says "Installing" and never gets anywhere.
Also when i updated the BB software to the latest version the settings that I noted down in a memo got wiped.

Can anyone out there help me out with how to do this?

In your post, you have not mentioned that you have changed the settings to allow tesco gprs access.
Was the phone on Tesco when you had it?
eg My unlocked K850i with an orange sim card, wont suddenly use O2 data with an O2 sim without updating some settings.

It was a vodafone. So I paid £15 in a shop to have it unlocked.
Tescos just gave me a sim. Thats' it so far.
I need help to make the internet work on this Tescos dataplan

However when you edit the TCP settings on a storm it only asks for APN name and username and password. I don't understand how to add this data

got opera installed but it can't connect to internet coz i obviously don't have the right settings.
Can anyone help with how or where to put them in

The phone needs to be used with a service provider that supports Blackberry - this is because some of the provisioning (including web), is done via Service books - settings that are pushed to the device over the air, using the device PIN. If you don't have a blackberry internet service feature on your Tesco plan, then I don't think you can make this work.
