    Hi Staciemk,

    If the account holder (i.e your mum) joins the TalkTalk members forum we can facilitate the refund of the duplicate payment for her.

    Seems to be your answer to everyone with a a problem with Talk Talk, are you saying that the only way anyone can get anything resolved with your company is by joining your forum, what if they do not want to join do you think the problem will sort itself or just go away.

  • ok i have told her to join the forum in hope to get things sorted. she has spent so much time and energy, not to mention constant phone calls, faxes, postage, petrol and parking money (she has to travel into town to fax as she doesnt own one) on what is clearly not her fault! one month bill is not much to talk talk but it is to her :(
  • I have left TalkTalk due to Direct Debit problems. I was one of millions of long standing Tiscali customers taken over by TalkTalk and therefore had no contract with them.

    In August TalkTalk decide to change the Direct Debit payment from the 1st of every month to the 22nd. Nothing to wrong with that except they took a full months payment on the 1st and the 22nd of that month.

    This effectively meant I paid a full months payment on the 22nd when this period only covered 21 days. No one at TalkTalk could comprehend that I had overpaid.

    If you are a fellow ex Tiscali customer I suggest you check your direct debits

    THe reason we refer to the forum is because MSE do not allow company reps to exchange private messages, therefore we have no facility to confirm security here on this forum.

    THe OP can by all means call customers services, email TT or send a letter. However the forum offers an alternative contact medium and matches the contact type when picking issues up in a forum environment. This type of matched contact ensures we are offering the same service to our customers that they are using to raise issues.

    Stacie - Im glad to see you have got the account holder registered on the forum. As advised if you post in the relevant support section this will be picked up by a forum OCE (Online Community Executive) in due course.
