Little things? 3 Holidays, a Cinema System ........ most people would give their right arm for wins like that LOL, Looks like you have enough there to give anyone motivation :)

  • I've only been comping since mid may this year.

had what I consider a biggie after three days of comping

2 vip tickets to epsom ladies day, free bar, 3 course lunch, £150 cheque and london stylist session.

I put a cash value on all my wins - which is in my signature.

I win a lot of small stuff.
Not really comping any more as too ill - but hoping to win £1000+ in 2017 in cash prizes - watch this space!

I am pleased with my wins and alas although I do most of the comps ending the next day, plus 8/10 dailys I have not won nearly as much (moneywise) as most of you. I have been comping for 2 1/2 years approx and have never won cash. Im amazed at the value of some your wins 23K:eek:but am really pleased for you, sorry cant help being a bit envious still I live in hope for a big win.

I have had a lucky year, my wins rrp over £10k since March 2010 when I came back to comping but tbh you wouldn't get anywhere near that if you were to sell them on so giving a winning total is very misleading , 2k of that was a luxury honeymoon to Mauritius.

I see it as a fun hobby where it allows me and the family to have lovely little treats, and if we are lucky, a holiday or things we can use like vouchers etc. I have been lucky with vouchers circa £1500 but no cash wins as yet.

Do it for the fun of it rather than money totals because if your chasing the wins to up a total, you are always going to be chasing the next win which I feel takes the fun out of the surprise and enjoyment. And to be fair someone could have a win worth say £1000.00 but it could be something as useful as a lifetime supply of paperclips.

    Good Luck :)

I agree, do it for the fun and the unexpected prize that just turns up.
I was really pleased when someone won a laptop from one of my posts and find I get as much enjoyment from knowing there were winners from the few comps I manage to find as I do from winning myself.
  • In my first Comping year i think it was about £2k worth of stuff. I dont really keep total of what wins are worth. Im more interested in how much use/need i have for them!! :D

wow £23k thats amazing! i just love the thrill of waiting for the postman every day just in case he brings me a surprise win!

lol at the £1k of paperclips comment, luckily i dont win useless things, unless its a runner up prize. i make sure im using everything for me or family, i.e i'll only enter dvd comps of films that i would watch!

i love reading the i won i won pages to see what people have won, and why they wanted to win them. i have been lucky with what ive won, but seeing some of the cash wins spurs me on even more!
