Egg card blocked as a precaution ... anyone else?

Finally got my replacement with the new number.

Then a day later I got a replacement for the original card with the original number on it (it was due to expire next month)!

I assume the 2nd card is dead and should be destroyed.

Noticed with the replacement (Visa) card that they're now doing some cashback thing via quidco.

I'm guessing they take a cut though and it's not as good as using quidco direct.

I got one of these letters today. I am so cheesed off, I only shop at 2 well known online stores with it.

I'd like to know what those two stores are, if your willing to disclose. Since I'm sure my my capital1 was replaced due to a retailer being hacked but cap1 wouldn't say who.

Have also had this letter this morning, card due to be blocked on Monday and new card could take up to 10 days to arrive

Not impressed. Took a note of my balance and cashback amount to ensure they are correct.

Also - I've got 2 refunds due on the card this week, does anyone know if they will still go through?
