Lou - you may have to get a bit assertive about care so I wish you well.
I thought my Dad was losing his marbles but now it turns out to be a heart problem. I am still having to fight for it to be sorted.
I know there is no similarity but treatment is not so automatic nowadays as when I was a nurse.
For crying out loud is there nothing decent on tv? I would love to take myself off to bed and watch something - not that I have a tv in my bedroom!

Well I couldn't get on for a bit.
Lou - keep a diary of what MIL does, get neighbours if pos to sign a statement explaining about the accusations etc. Go to the Docs yourself if possible, burst in tears and demand someone helps before some terrible happens. you have to be the squeaky wheel that gets the oil I guess.
We found my grandad roaming the streets of Stoke Newington (lovely area not) in his dressing gown. He had walked about 8 miles (was 92) on his own, to get a paper (found at 2 in the morning) scared us all blind. Even thinking about it now gets me upset.
