Deferring an O2 contract for time abroad
Hi,
I have written a a request to O2 to defer my 24 month contract as I will be travelling round the world for one year and obviously will be wanting to switch to pay as you go rather than being stuck with monthly payments whilst I'm on a limited budget abroad.
I've got my letter ready to send but I'm not sure it will reach the right people who can make it happen (if its at all possible)?
I've read that the cancellation address is...

...but I'm not sure if this will be the same for deferring. Please could someone help? Any advice appreciated in advance! Thanks

I'm pretty sure you can't defer payments.
O2 are more lenient than most phone companies and will allow as suspension if you are service personnel who are posted abroad unexpectedly, but that is it.0
