Virgin internet security

Anybody using only virgin internet security? How many computers can it be installed on? Thanks

max is 3 pc/laptops in the house.

been using it awhile its good only down side i have is it takes agess to load up when the pc boots up.

So not that good then.

Why did you chose Virgins security?

Avast, Avira or Microsoft Security Essentials, all free will probably do a better job.

Probably because its easy, free and you get support from virgin

I use AVG myself but can understand folk who aren't computer literate using virgin

I gave Virgin Security a second chance after they started supporting Windows 7.

2 months down the line (I do give them a good chance) I am uninstalling it because it is still the most attrocious piece of kit, slow, annoying and blocks ports even after the 10th time of specifically excepting them. I actually trust Windows Firewall more than Virgin's!

AVG was good, but now generally regarded as poor especially compared to the 3 I mentioned above.

Nothing wrong with Vista or Win 7 firewall, especially if you're behind a router.
XP firewall is slightly less good, but I'd suggest for general use it's still OK with a router.
