put in the details of the car.. (they want the wheels left on an inflated.) offered me £110 for a fiesta..
should be similar for a escort..
A pity they won't just give a quote based on first half of postcode and registration only without having to register.0 -
The insurance value is as simple as the salvage +, - the removal costs, I'd guess a 50 % reduction?I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0 -
Thanks all for your replies.
Satan is now on his way to be broken and scrapped by a local car breaker who has just driven it off on the back of his wagon.
I feel quite upset by it - never thought I'd got attached to poor old Satan.
I got £110 for it.
Given all the things that were wrong with it I doubt very much I'd have got £110 for it on Ebay plus it would have cost me to list it wouldn't it?
Off to the post office now to send off the tax disc so should get a few quid back for that too.
Thanks again all.

I cried when my mini went.

So did my mates (rock band) van who finally after several years of good service, and after nearly 300,000 miles (about 160,000 of those unserviced) and many a funny escapade (nine good friends, in their early twenties and a minibus, normally filled with booze and other things....) she was unable to go on any further.......
After being returned with nearly five "red pages" from her MOT Rimto was no more......... We did go straight out and pee the scrap money up the wall though.
Most of the stories of my youth will involve that manky old Transit minibus. RIP K907NGL.
