just the bath tap, sinks are finemartindow wrote:Is this happening with all of your hot taps or just the bath tap?Wiggly:heartpulsFB0 -
You could try this if the tap isn't turning as much as it used to.
Put plug in bath - to prevent loss of small parts
Turn hot water off.
Remove tap handle - usually a small screw under the hot/cold badge
Remove shiny outer casing
Remove spring clip - having noted its position on the spindle
Use spanner to remove tap workings
Apply a bit of vaseline or similar to the moving part (esp bit that slides up and down - difficult to explain but mor obvious when you have the parts in front of you)
Reassemble, making sure the the spring clip is relocated in the right place
If the taps turn normally, there could be something obstructiong water flow. Remove main part as above and slowly turn water on to clear blockage before reassembling tap assembly.
Good luck.
