After reading the extra info' you posted, report it stolen, he can then be charged with TWOC if he trys to drive it, no copper of court will believe that you would register and insure a car that wasn't yours, all the evidence relating to the car he sold on Ebay and the one he then bought all just backs up your story regarding what happened.
If he doesn't have the car the simply make a report of harrasment at your local police station.

Every family has at least one idiot uncle. I wouldn't read anything further into it.
Also, as others have said, keep the car, keep the logbook and tell him and his buyer to get lost.
I'd probably invest in a disclok, and make sure to keep the car keys upstairs overnight, however.0
